HP has done it again delivering one of the most powerful Windows Mobile 5 devices on the market. The hx2795 is identical to the hx2750 in form factor and processor but with Windows Mobile 5 this device is a powerhouse. Today HP announced 3 new models to the iPAQ family hx2195, hx2495 and the hx2795 in which we will go over what this baby has to offer

I've have had a variety of iPAQs and some just remain favorites not necessarily because of the power they had (or didn't have) but because of the style, comfort and ease of use. When HP came out with their previous line, it had a whole new design---a new look---a new feel. I liked it, I liked it a lot but I still loved the design of the 1940 so I just never retired it.
Well, it might be time to retire that baby because there is a "new kid" is on the block and it promises to command every bit of respect that the 1940 had plus a whole lot more!
The reviews I have completed on this series of new iPAQs have been favorable- from the 1700 which was pricey for an entry model, up to the 4700 which is my absolute favorite all time iPAQ! And then...along comes HP's newest entries...The HP iPAQ hx2000 series!
This is an iPAQ that has a look as if it is supposed to be handled...worked...used! First Impressions (part 4) will give you my view on what I saw as I opened the box and my first few days of using my new hx2700.
If you recall, I had said when I did my impression of the 1700 series that I thought the iPAQ as we knew it was about to change. Of course when I saw the 3700 series, I knew I was right. I had thought that I had seen everything and frankly I did not think that the 4700 series could be that much better. Well it is! First Impressions (part 3) will give you my view on what I saw as I opened the box and my first few weeks of using my new hx4700.
It is Monday July 26th at 6:00am in the morning and my new iPAQ h6300 alarm goes off as I hit the snooze for another 15 minutes. Before I knew it my alarm went off again and I was delighted to lay comfortably in my bed, as I make a connection via wirelessly on my 802.11 network. I immediately connect into my corporate network via VPN and log into my Microsoft Exchange email. Seeing that my assistant made a change to my Power Point presentation, I download the presentation and opened it in the ClearView Presentation software bundled in my iPAQ h6300 in which I noticed my assistant spelled the customer name wrong and made the change. I hop out of bed and jump into the shower, get dressed and I am off to my work.
When I got my first look at the starting entry of HP's new line of iPAQs I knew that the PDA as we knew it was about to change. What I did not realize however was that the next in line in HP's new series would change how PDA's will be used forever. First Impressions (part 2) will give you my view on what I saw as I opened the box on my new rx3700.
Last month HP announced four new iPAQ PocketPC’s in which address four different audiences beginners (rz1700), phone users (h6300), power users (hx4700) and now the mobile media user (rx3700)! Who would ever think mobile media? Plus a full 7.5 hours of battery life! We always associated our pda’s as devices that just handle our contacts, appointments and minimal media options. Well with the announcement of the rx3700 HP has filled in the gap with a broad range of multimedia options.
It’s Monday, July 26th, and I just opened the box for my new iPAQ rz1715. I have refused to read the stories, the hype, the rumors, and the talk that might give me a pre-disposition on the unit. I wanted to look, explore, test and enjoy this new device on my terms. So the following are my first impressions...
The first time seeing the HP iPAQ rz1700 PocketPC I was thrown back at the change of design from the original h19xx series. Wow, I really loved the h19xx series with the sleek and sexy design where everyone comes up to you asking what that is. Being the iPAQ fan I couldn’t just betray the unit, but only give it a fair chance to gain my approval. As we dive into this review I will go over design, software included, and functionality.
I don't know about you but how excited are you about this inexpensive PocketPC? First off where can you purchase a PocketPC for $299.00? I know everyone is saying Dell, Viewsonic but comon if you ask me HP has given us what we asked for, an inexpensive PocketPC.
Well if you collect iPAQ's the new 5400 series iPAQ will knock your socks off! The new 5400 series comes with built-in 802.11 and Bluetooth wireless networking. The iPAQ 5400 series includes an integrated fingerprint scanner as a security measure in which has been important issue to businesses worried about company secrets being stored on easily stolen handhelds. Some much needed improvements are:
Its 7:00am on Monday June 23, 2003 and my new h2215 iPAQ PocketPC alarm goes off. With my eyes still shut I turn over in my bed to turn the alarm off and unfortunately my hands shuffles around as I cannot find the new kid on the block?
In this article I will go over thoroughly the entire Compaq Ipaq 3765 from box contents to physical design to software. The iPAQ 3765 is identical to the original 3600 series iPAQ except for the problem with the dust through the stylus and the bottom main reset switch sliding draw are now completely fixed (THANK YOU). The iPAQ box design shown below is like its predecessor except the new stylish logo and the new PocketPC 2002 OS on the screen of the iPAQ. The back of the box shows goes over the new stylish sleeves which are as follows Dual Slot, PC Card, CF Card, Bluetooth and Wireless GSM/GPRS packs.
I received my first Compaq iPAQ 18 months ago, and I remember that day well. It was the day that opened my eyes to the potential of the Pocket PC. Compaq's original H3600 series iPAQ was slim and sexy, and its unique Expansion Packs let you add card slots, battery life, and more. Compaq won many awards for the 3600 series, including the most important prize: they've dominated Pocket PC sales since April of 2000.
