Please note that Israel is currently not supported by this ROM release. HP strongly advises users in Israel not to use this update. Users in Israel should continue to use the original shipping ROM 1.00.06 until further notice.
Copies of e-mails are not saved to certain HP iPAQ series Pocket PCs and HP Mobile Media Companions if e-mails are synchronized via an ActiveSync partnership with a desktop. However, if you establish a partnership on the handheld with an Exchange Server instead of ActiveSync, then copies of e-mails can be saved to the "Sent Items" folder on the Exchange Server. Refer to the Resolution section of this advisory for information about saving copies of sent e-mails by synchronizing the Sent Items folder with the Exchange Server.

This advisory lists the countries that CAN use the ROM upgrade. The Orange Network in the country of Israel is currently not supported in the new ROM release 1.00.36. HP strongly advises customers in Israel against updating to this new ROM, but instead urges them to continue using the original shipping ROM 1.00.06 until further notice.

HP has issused an advisory on appointments that are off by one hour. When a customer synchronizes an HP iPAQ Pocket PC handheld device with a host computer, the customer may discover a one-hour difference between the appointments appearing on the handheld and the same appointments appearing on the host computer, despite the fact that the clock times were correctly set on both devices.
HP today announced an upgrade program to Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 for customers with select HP iPAQ handhelds as well as plans to support the new version of the software platform in its future mobile offerings.

This is a recommended update to the 4100 series. This update adds support for seamless roaming when roaming across access points within same subnet.
HP iPAQ Pocket PC h2200 series handheld devices with ROM version 1.10 may lock up and become unresponsive while the Self-Test program is running.
