Update: We just received confirmation that the although the Sprint Treo Pro is already at Best Buy, it has been delayed until February 15th.
The Palm Treo Pro is finally coming to Sprint the 25th of this month! I almost forgot about this phone coming to Sprint, mainly because of all the buzz about the Palm Pre. Anyways, this should be a nice device to hold us Sprint customers off until the Pre is released.

Early this morning, Palm released a couple of official press photos of the Treo Pro along with a short video. The company didn’t reveal a whole lot of information other than the following, the Treo Pro smartphone features a one-touch Wi-Fi button, GPS, Windows Mobile 6.1 and a high-resolution flush colour touch screen.
Once upon a time I counted on my Treo to alert me when I'd missed a call or text message. All I had to do was glance down, and the flashing led was all I needed. And then Palm decided that the only reason we needed the led was so we would know if we were charging. I understand the need to conserve the battery, but taking away the led was a big disappointment. I was just given this information from my friends at Palm who apparently showed off a new smartphone called the Palm Centro. Palm showed this device to a group of Sprint's financial audience, as well as a small number of press and market analysts.

I was really shocked after reading Richard Duprey of The Motley Fool basically slamming the Treo 700w. He writes some interesting accusations stating the 700w doesn't stand up to how it was advertised. I find this a complete exaggeration nevertheless another person who loves to paint the reasons for the problem at Microsoft.
