Mobile sites that I like to visit on my iPAQ vary in content and I go to them depending on my mood. One site that I frequent while I am "on the road" is Pocket PC Media. It offers a variety of streaming digital media for you to view and listen to on your iPAQ.
The content is varied and is divided into several categories (NEWS, WEBTV, WEBRADIO, MUSIC VIDEOS, MOVIE TRAILERS, SHORT MOVIES, and GAMES). There is a new RealOne section along with a discussion FORUM and a nice LINKS page for Pocket PC friendly websites.
It is a genuinely "fun" experience browsing through the different offerings. I found myself "stuck" watching a video on gaming (NTV) the other day and have thoroughly enjoyed catching a few movie trailers that I would have missed without this site. I'm going to see "I, Robot" this summer because the trailer intrigued me so much.
The quality of the video streams is very good. Sometimes I can't get the video that I select but that is a rare occurrence. Frequently, I will access WebRadio while I am working on a document. There is a good variety of stations to choose from...you will find something that meets your tastes.
Overall, this is a neat mobile site that will keep you informed and entertained. It is clear that a lot of time goes into keeping the site current. You will visit often to catch a glimpse of the latest movie trailer, listen to some music or just to see a news story. I would like to see the top of the page redesigned to make it a bit easier to click on the different categories.
