I have had a the HTC for a month now, and I find the loss of a key board is no real problem (Back up phone Imate Jasjar with keyboard), as to the GPS and battery life, I have tested it without a power source, and it lasted over 2 hours, but as I use it in my car with the supplied lighter charger this is no great problem, I must admit that this is the best phone I have ever had.

People keep raggin on the MicroSD slot, but I dont think I would want a device with an exposed MicroSD.
My 6700 launches my MiniSD too often...

Add me to the list of "no keyboard, no sale" users. In fact I tend to favor fixed keyboards like the Treo or HTC Excalibur. So using the Artemis, innovative though it may be, would be a painful experience.

Nice looking device and form factor for being a sometimes GPS device. The fact that it adds the phone functionality is a good thing, but I can see that many would be having issues with the GPS and phone rolling and not neart a power source. That is most def a receipie for newer battery tech being needed.

Huh? The Artemis has the same size screen as any Wizard device.

I like the features but the microSD slot is awful. Will not get this one. I use my keyboard way too much to justify the losing it in favor of GPS that I will only occasionally use (OK I might use it more if it is easy to access, fast loading, and I had a good setup in the car). The screen does look like it will be more useful as a display for GPS, which is one thing I don’t think the Wizard has going for it. Overall very nice external aesthetics but it needs to keep some of the useful features that other HTC WM5 devices have.

Yep, I agree with you D. The Artemis is a real nice form factor and a feature laden device. Regardless, phone devices nowdays need keyboards - although JAM owners might contest that statement.
It won't be long now when we will be able to get a Artemis-like form factor with a vertical or horizontal (ala Wizard) slide keyboard.

Looks awesome. However, I can't see myself using any devices without keyboards anymore. If it's a stand alone PDA, it makes sense. But for a phone and messaging device, it makes no sense what so ever.
