Milan - A Fashion Statement

Milan Jacket Highlights

• 41 hidden pockets

Quote
All SeV's are designed to be highly functional garments, combining aspects of apparel, luggage and technology. We employed engineers to design the placement and construction of the pockets. From the exterior, the pockets are hidden from view. We use every compartment in the garment to maximize the space. Our jackets have up to 52 hidden pockets. The pockets are ergonomically designed to take into account what people are carrying to make it easy to access your stuff.
• patented PAN

Quote
The new and improved, patented PAN no longer has the flaps. Instead it allows you to channel your wires through the lining of the jacket in order to wire and connect your various devices. This is featured on the Version Three.0 product line as well as the Sport TEC. The PAN is brought to you by TECHNOLOGY ENABLED CLOTHING INC.
• ZIP-PIP

Quote
Our patented pocket-in-pocket technology. Zippers cleverly turn one pocket into two. Prevents your gadgets from knocking into one another, and allows you to carry a beverage container.
• Supple Napa Lambskin

• DCC+

Quote
This feature takes the DCC one step further by allowing access to the large Velcro® patches inside interior pockets via either zipper closure or a series of magnetic closures, for quick and quiet access to whatever is attached thereto.
• Can hold Camelbak®

Quote
The huge back pocket is great to stow documents, folders and magazines. It can even accommodate a small laptop computer, but we don't recommend using it for laptop computers for long periods of time, or sitting on your laptop. This pocket is connected to the Personal Area Network in the corners of the pocket. You can also hang a Camelbak® water hydration system on loop and route the straw through the AllAccess™ pockets so you can always have your beverage ready and available.
• HangingPockets™

Quote
These loose hanging interior pockets create a more streamlined look and enable greater concealment of devices, without any unsightly bulges.
• Change Pockets

• Side Seam Zippers

• DeepPockets™

Quote
A new type of pocket ergonomically designed so items can't fall out, even if you forget to zip it closed.
• Bottle holders

Quote
Located in pockets to prevent spillage should you suddenly need both hands mid-drink. Pocket-in-Pockets (PIP) keep the bottle holders separated.
• CollarConnect™

Quote
This is a hidden conduit system, similar to the Personal Area Network, located on the inside of the collar that holds wires in place. Users no longer have to wrap wires around their necks with this bilateral connection. This was first introduced in Version Three.0 line.
• Collar Loops

Quote
Made of strong elastic cords, the collar loops hold earbuds and headphones in place.
• Eyeglass Chamois

• 9 Pen/Stylus Pockets

Quote
Long, narrow inner pockets on either side of zipper stow a pen, PDA, stylus, or a set of chopsticks.
• 2-Way Front Zipper

Quote
Zip it up or zip it down. The 2-way zipper gives you maximum access to all of those inside pockets. This is perfect for cycling or when you site down and don't want to unzip, just pull up the lower zipper!
• Magnetic Pocket Closures

• Battery Holders

• Weight Management System

Quote
Special fabric is used in the shoulder areas to hold the shape of the shoulders. This is designed to distribute the weight evenly on your shoulders.
• Key Holder

Quote
You'll never lose your keys again, once you attach them to this key holder located inside the front pocket on the lower front of the SCOTTEVEST (SeV). VERSION THREE.0+ has two removable keyholders.
• Secret Pocket

Quote
Well-concealed inner pocket in the upper right-hand portion of the front panel. Use it to stash valuables.
• Back Pocket

• Back Pocket Access

• Earbud Pockets

Quote
Small pouches located inside just below the front collar on each side. Store your earbuds (or small headphones) when not in use.
• Magnetic Cuffs

• Sleeve Pockets

• MyMemory™

Quote
Interior pocket that keeps your memory cards safe and secure.

....and the best highlight of all is this is one slick jacket... You will look and feel terrific!

Appearantly Gizmodo had a look at MobilityToday:

"... home of all things PDA, is now MobilityToday, which is focusing on old men wearing jackets..."

lpricci, I asked Jennifer last night as we were eating dinner but she said her agent would want a contract...so I passed on it!
Jack-

The jacket sure looks good on you, but how would it look on Jennifer Anniston or Angalina Jolie? Can you get them to pose for Dave's Ipaq??
This was an excellent review of a technology enabled jacket Jack!

casteve, it part of the whole package; devices and accesories to make your life easier. I am glad the reviews expand into the peripheral areas!

guys, keep it up after reading this review I am buying one!
Major loss of focus at this site! The home page features a leather jacket for the last week, the previous two weeks it features a brief case?

Guys, I don't think this is why visitors come to this site. I'm sure i represent a good portion of your visitors who are truly looking for IPAQ information.

It's also very frustrating to hear on your podcasts about how you have signed NDA's and can't fully discuss new products you may have seen. Entering into NDA's may be allow you to have personal fun looking at new products, but does nothing for the community.
Just looked at the bag. That's great, and one I'd like for heavy traveling...but I am looking for something closer to the "Pod" that I just saw when browsing again. Something I can carry around on an everyday basis, like going shopping with the wife or going to the ballpark or Disney World. The Pod bag is pretty good, but too "bulky." I've seen some messanger bags that have the right size and shape, but have like 2 pockets. I'd have to have at least 20 or so. Someone has made one very close to what I'm looking for, I've just got to find it!

Back to the topic at hand...gorgeous leather jacket!
Jeterdawg, Jack just did a review on a great bag that might be as you describe...

Thanks for your reply, Scott. I am a CPA and I was just thinking how great of the type of client your company would be...my two favorite industries - technology and retail.

BTW, I noticed before when I first heard of your site, and now again some months later...you have no bags on your site. I would think a "geek bag" would be the ultimate compliment to most of the items in your line. I drew up a couple of blueprints for a bag that I was hoping my mom could sew (she's an interior decorator) together. It combines many of the traits your clothing features - PiP's, wiring routes, and secret pockets.

I'm the type of person who would love extra pockets on most articles, but I'd want to carry most of my stuff in a bag of some type. I love the flexibility of having so many pockets to choose where your favorite gadget will go though. I think a pair of pants and one of the lighter jackets will be going on my wishlist for Christmas. If my in-laws are dead-set on getting my clothes, by golly I'm going to like the ones they give me!
Sorry for my late reply. Let me try to answer all the questions.

1. We are not public.
2. Although several catalogues are carring us, and online several places now, including www.thinkgeek.com, the only other place you can physically see them is the International Spy Museam in D.C., and they only have some of our items. We are working on more outlets. However, we make returns and exchanges VERY easy.

Scott
There is no question about that Jeterdawg! This new jacket is just awesome!

I read in a press release from the SeV website that they are selling some of their clothing line in Neiman Marcus and Magellans. That is REALLY going to make the company take off.

This jacket is amazing. Too bad I live in Texas and wouldn't get to use it too often!

I can't tell from the website if the Company is public at this time or not. If you're reading, Scott, please let us know.
Scott, is there anyplace we can check out SeV stuff before buying? It all looks cool, but the price is high enough that I'd prefer to check the clothes out before I buy.
I like this jacket.
Thank you for good information Jack.

PS: jack do you remember me? i'm the operator of TODAYSPPC.COM .
It's great to see you again on your web site.
I agree Cookie_Jar! I hope this is my Christmas gift!

The discount at the end is a good deal too!
Hey Scott this by far is going to be a big seller. What I like about it is that it still serves a purpose to carry your gear with ya! Jack I am sure you will be nice and warm this winter.
WOW

This is an awesome jacket!
Thanks for the review. If you post your comments and questions here, I will try to reply promptly. I can tell you that this is my absolute favorite jacket, and based upon all the comments we have received thus far, everyone seems to agree! We are guaranteed to sell out of these by Xmas!
