SeV Sport Tec 4.0

Every jacket has pockets but what makes SeV jackets unique is not only the number of pockets but the function they serve. Inside the hand warmer pockets located near the bottom is a neat little interior pocket perfect for change, that extra key or even those few paper clips you just had in your hand and need a place to go. I have a feeling that these two pockets will see a lot of use. I always have a washer, a nut or some small item that needs a home and these pockets really fit the bill!

In the right hand warmer pocket you will find a detachable key holder on a flexible coil spring and the uniqueness continues on the left side. It is there that you will not only find your hand warmer pocket but in addition, a PIP (Pocket in a Pocket). A zipper separates the two pockets giving you the flexibility of having two pockets or one. Inside the PIP you will find a bottle holder and the change pocket. What will they think of next to continue with the tradition of innovative useful pockets?

So, we have seven zippers on the outside of the jacket; what about the inside? Pockets for storage and zippers for added security located in key areas.

On the inside you find on both the left and right sides close to the zipper, a unique use of space for pens. There are four pockets for pens, pencils or styli --- a great idea! On either side of the zipper at the top are small pockets for placement of ear buds when not in use. These are very handy if you have pre- wired your jacket and you don’t want your earbuds flopping around when not in use.

On the right inside, there are two zippered storage pockets; one about half way up the jacket and a larger pocket located in the lower region. Both pockets have the Coolmax® mesh lining allowing you to see what is inside. I like that! The left side also has two pockets with the same Coolmax® mesh lining. The lower pocket is like that on the right side but the upper pocket’s entry is slightly different. It has a vertical entry with the zipper neatly sewn into the lining so it is almost a hidden pocket concept. This pocket is great for your wallet(or iPAQ) for easy access.

Seven zippers and nine pockets on the outside, four zippers and ten pockets on the inside. Eleven zippers and nineteen pockets --- SportTECular! But where are the other two pockets?

I had a good chuckle Greg...thanks! You don't have to be sorry...actually the picture in the review is at "lands end".

As you look at the reviews we have presented, it covers a variety of areas...all related in some way to the mobile user. I have not found any clothing line other than SCOTTEVEST that has style and still allows me to carry a myriad of devices when I want to.

More reviews are coming...gadgets and devices.
Sorry, but is this Dave's Lands End or Dave's iPAQ?
Greg
Looks nice. Will SeV be making one with a GoreTex like material? Ditto Dave's comments on the nice surroundings. Where's the pix taken? My ME location is 43° 51.17'N, 69° 51.89'W.
Jack, you have got to get ScotteVest to put our logo up with the link to your review. The other 2 reviews have logos and make you almost miss the fact that there is a link for your review.
What a kind thought !
Laura, we have the room. Pack up the family and come out to visit the wonders of the Northeast!
Everytime I look at these photos, it reminds me so of Lake Tahoe in California where I have many many happy memories. and I just want to be there - NOW!!
Plus it was good timing since we had the summer season clothing going into the fall season.. Gotta have something to carry all of our gear!
I appreciate your comments JJ and more neat stuff is coming. Sometimes it is difficult to decide what to pick...I guess it is what strikes me as being interesting and worth while for the membership.

SCOTTEVEST is currently introducing a new line of Tech enabled clothes and from my side of the fence, it is some pretty cool stuff. Not only does it satisfy the need for storing all that great "stuff" we carry, it has incredible style. The new 4.0 line is really geared to a younger audience and yet, for the old folks like me, it is very nice.

Style, comfort and versatility....to me, that is important to the membership.

We have more reviews coming and they will be up soon...but it is summer and we all do have to relax...of course, that is what I always do!

Thanks for your words...and you will love what is coming!

BTW, the "jacksentme" offer was a generous gesture from SCOTTEVEST. He has been a tremendous supporter of the Pocket PC community...we are very grateful for his kindness!
I appreciate the SeV clothing - design, workmanship, etc., I really do. And, Jack does a great job on any review he has done on this site. BUT, I would rather see more hardware/software reviews. Let's give Jack something besides clothing to review please!
Jack I am jealous of your surroundings!! The jacket actually looks like its very comfortable...
Thanks so much for the review!

Scott
