SeV Sport Tec 4.0

It is always a game with my wife and I to try to find all of the pockets on any SeV product--- some are quite unique in their location but all are very useful. With a serious search we found number twenty. It was located behind the rear pocket with access through either hand warmer pocket through a Velcro faster system. A perfect location for that water hydration system you might like to carry or even a neat place to slide something that might rarely be used but needed in case of an emergency. One left to go…and I’ll be darned if I can find it but the search will go on.

Of course throughout the jacket there are those little extras that make a difference and SeV continues with that tradition. Neat things like the spiral key holder in the right handwarmer pocket, a cloth on bungee type cord to clean glasses or more importantly, your iPAQ screen in the inside left breast pocket and an ID clip located on an inside pocket to use if needed. The magnetic closure system to prevent loss of an item if you forget to zip a pocket as well as a terrific “cinching” system to keep your jacket snug on the bottom are two of my favorite “extras” that are always there.

Everything about this jacket has been well thought out for comfort, like the removable sleeves in case it becomes too warm or the hidden rain hood if you get caught in a sudden storm. The snap closure at the bottom of the front zipper and the magnetic flap to prevent wind from passing through the zipper area are great aspects that you really wouldn’t think about but are absolutely invaluable for maintaining comfort.
Of course, a favorite aspect of mine is the elasticized sleeve. It looks good, feels great and gives me the option of placing the sleeves where I want them. I love pushing them up! And the fit…that is most important. SeV has a variety of sizes to cover pretty much everyone and if you are not sure of your size, they have a pretty accurate sizing chart to help you with your decision.

A perfect fall jacket (and it will be outstanding in the spring too) from SeV that will provide you with years of comfort and versatility in carrying your devices. BTW, I finally figured out the new name Sport TEC 4.0. When I was in school, a 4.0 was an A and this jacket is a very definite A+!

I had a good chuckle Greg...thanks! You don't have to be sorry...actually the picture in the review is at "lands end".

As you look at the reviews we have presented, it covers a variety of areas...all related in some way to the mobile user. I have not found any clothing line other than SCOTTEVEST that has style and still allows me to carry a myriad of devices when I want to.

More reviews are coming...gadgets and devices.
Sorry, but is this Dave's Lands End or Dave's iPAQ?
Greg
Looks nice. Will SeV be making one with a GoreTex like material? Ditto Dave's comments on the nice surroundings. Where's the pix taken? My ME location is 43° 51.17'N, 69° 51.89'W.
Jack, you have got to get ScotteVest to put our logo up with the link to your review. The other 2 reviews have logos and make you almost miss the fact that there is a link for your review.
What a kind thought !
Laura, we have the room. Pack up the family and come out to visit the wonders of the Northeast!
Everytime I look at these photos, it reminds me so of Lake Tahoe in California where I have many many happy memories. and I just want to be there - NOW!!
Plus it was good timing since we had the summer season clothing going into the fall season.. Gotta have something to carry all of our gear!
I appreciate your comments JJ and more neat stuff is coming. Sometimes it is difficult to decide what to pick...I guess it is what strikes me as being interesting and worth while for the membership.

SCOTTEVEST is currently introducing a new line of Tech enabled clothes and from my side of the fence, it is some pretty cool stuff. Not only does it satisfy the need for storing all that great "stuff" we carry, it has incredible style. The new 4.0 line is really geared to a younger audience and yet, for the old folks like me, it is very nice.

Style, comfort and versatility....to me, that is important to the membership.

We have more reviews coming and they will be up soon...but it is summer and we all do have to relax...of course, that is what I always do!

Thanks for your words...and you will love what is coming!

BTW, the "jacksentme" offer was a generous gesture from SCOTTEVEST. He has been a tremendous supporter of the Pocket PC community...we are very grateful for his kindness!
I appreciate the SeV clothing - design, workmanship, etc., I really do. And, Jack does a great job on any review he has done on this site. BUT, I would rather see more hardware/software reviews. Let's give Jack something besides clothing to review please!
Jack I am jealous of your surroundings!! The jacket actually looks like its very comfortable...
Thanks so much for the review!

Scott
