SOME TRULY GREAT FEATURES:
I have to say, there are many features included that might remain entirely untapped unless you thought of all the ways to utilize them. As mentioned previously, I do not have much need for the presentation aspect of the program, but I give it high honors for providing a surprising amount of functionality in this regard. The functions that I found most useful are listed below, with the occasional screenshot:

Exploring your PocketPC: One of the most remarkable abilities of this software is the ability to remotely navigate your iPAQ file and folder structure. This is an incredibly useful feature which I use to directly copy files back and forth between my PC and my iPAQ. When I stopped using my USB connection for ActiveSync and went with a Wireless WiFi connection in order to become a little bit more mobile, the cost was that I was unable to use the “Mobile Device” feature in Windows Explorer, as this feature only works when the iPAQ is registered as a sub-device of your Host PC. But now I can use Pocket Controller’s Windows Explorer to access my device directly over my WiFi connection! Outstanding!!!

Processes List: While this is normally a very useful utility to regular PC users, it has now become an indispensable asset to be able to view process threads, to stop a given process, or even kill it if necessary. Extremely useful if you are attempting to troubleshoot a problem with your PocketPC.
Soft Reset: Want to perform a soft reset? Go right ahead! There is a menu choice to perform a soft-reset right in the Tools menu. Very useful when you want to perform a soft-reset without having to pull the PocketPC out of the cradle and grab the stylus to perform the ritualistic process of resetting of your device.

Skin Views: If you want the skin of Pocket Controller to appear entirely like your PocketPC shell, you can choose to enable your particular model’s skin. The skins and their subsequent download are free from Soti.
Synchronizing Clipboard data between PC and PocketPC: Of great importance to me personally is the ability to move data back and forth between the PocketPC and my Host PC. This is especially useful in the initial configuration of programs where I tend to store Registration Codes. Copy/Paste is still the way to go for those long alpha-numeric keys! On my version 4.12, the only option was “Automatic Synchronizing” of Clipboards, but on the newer version (5.01 and above), you also have the options of “from PC to PPC” and “from PPC to PC”.
