I've used a similar product from GadgetShieldz.com on my iPod for a much lower price.
Full body protection from gadgetshieldz cost me next to nothing compared to the invisable shield I had last. I guess the packaging costs a share in the price but the gap between $6 and $25 is too big for my liking.
It is true that when you first install it on a touch screen of a pda, ie. palm pilot, the stylus does not move across silky smooth like when there is nothing on there, but I found a solution. I sprayed on the iKlear Apple Polish which kind of has a slippery feeling to it when you use it and it worked. It is almost as good as just using the stylus on the glass of the digitizer. If the glass on the digitizer is a 10, and using the invisible shield reduces the smoothness into a 1, then spraying on the iKlear polish will bring the smoothness back up to 7-8. Definitely livable for the protection.
Do these shields work for touchscreens as well?
That is fantastic news... I am so happy
Just received my shield today. Wow these things are great. Thanks for the review Dave. I never would have bought one if you hadn't shown it to us.
The best way I'd descibe it is like industrial strength stickers that dont leave the mess behind.
Very easy to remove!
how easy is it to remove?
I got this stuff today and it's amazing. Thanks for the great review David.
If you go to their site you'll see .. Works with a ton of gadgets.
How good are they in regard to PDA's ... i.e does the stylus work well, or are they really only suited to 'none stylus' setups?
Notwithstanding the review of the product, I was glad to see a good picture of you, David! Nevertheless, a great review.
What a great review!. This product really does seem great and as I was thinking of getting a Nokia E61 for use with my own website i would normally go and get a screen protector. Not any more though I am getting 1 of these!
Just watched the Podcast....holy cow! I have never seen a product stand up like that on a PDA. Way to go ShieldZONE and excellent review Dave!
I have got to go get one for my iPod. Great Review!
These shields really are phenomenal! I am very impressed!
Sorry if the video is slow. Looks like YouTube is getting hit with some significant traffic.
