TightPod

The TightPod is an elegant, stylish way to protect your laptop from scratches and dust. Not only is it stylish it helps prevent theft believe it or not! The fabric is made of swimsuit material that fits and feels very close to spandex. The TightPod will also fit any laptop like a glove since they make TightPods to fit almost ANY laptop. There are no creases, no sags, no slippery fabric. There are sizes appropriate for just about every laptop including Apple's brand new 15" MacBook Pro. The TightPod is also made without any zippers, velcro, or snaps!

What caught my eye about this product was a recent letter that was sent to the owner of the TightPod Terry Wilson by Apple Computer Corporation requesting the name change. Apple holds the registered trademark for "iPod" in the United States and more than 50 international jurisdictions, according to the Aug. 1 letter to Wilson, written on Apple's behalf by Jennifer Arkowitz, a lawyer at Townsend & Townsend & Crew in San Francisco. See Apple also holds the "Pod" trademark in the European Union and has a pending registration in the United States so this created a big buzz in the internet. It reminded me personally of Davey vs Goliath. But any exposure is good exposure and for me I found a new accessory for my new MacBook because of it!

As you can see the TightPod fits your laptop like a glove! Below you can see how well this sleeve is made and how it can definitely be a disguise for any laptop.

Once the laptop is slipped into the sleeve you'll notice how well it fits!



We weren't just done yet, we need to slide the end of the TightPod over to the back of the laptop.



Presto once I slide the pouch over I am ready to go! Like we have said fits like a glove!



In conclusion the TightPod does everything it is supposed to do! I was very pleased with the craftsmanship and dedication to detail! The TightPod comes in many different designs from solid colors, leopard prints, floral designs and even snake skin designs! For me the Black was just perfect and definitely a great add on to my new MacBook!
