Are you serious, Dave is probably the most reliable person I have come across as far as reviewing mobile devices and teling us the straight facts. While I was in Iraq for the last 6 months, I did my best to try and read Mobility Today as often as I could, 1. it gave me a link back to the real world and 2. to try to keep up on the new toys and devices coming to the market. I have alsomade many decisions on to purchase or not to purchase due to the great reviews and podcasts that he brings to us (along with the others here at MT).

On to the subject of this post: I decided against the Zune a few weeks back when I reutrned from overseas, not only becasue it is a Mico$oft product but for the simple fact that the interface on the Ipod just seems natural as stated below by interstink. I took my 30 gig to Iraq and put it through hell without it even once having a problem, so I guess my biggest reason for staying with the Ipod is mostly loyalty to a product which has not failed me yet. When I go back to Iraq, if I can get my hands on a Zune and I will see if it can provide the same performance.
I do agree that it would have been nice to see the side by side comparison of the iPOD and the Zune displays. However, Dave did mention quite a few issues with this device and has reported several posts elaborating on the shortcomings.

So, I think your statements regarding credibility are a we bit off the mark in this particular case Mike.
Well, David. I just blew Mobility Today off both my computers. Why? Refering to the screen of the Zune, you said "It's ten times better than the iPod." Then you provided no evidence whatsoever. It has exactly the same resolution as the iPod, it would be difficult to imagine that it is brighter or contrastier than in iPod (I have not done a side by side, and neither did you), and the screen is only a few percent larger than an iPod.

Therefore, it can not be "Ten times better."

Your reviews have no credibility any longer. You are gone.

And so am I.

Mike
Sure looks like a lot of paper work for an MP3 player. Does the iPod even have a manual? And green-peace is harping on Apple for its packaging landfill.

I'll never forget handing my mother an ipod, in about 30 sec.'s she was listening to tunes - The iPod interface is just that natural/human.
The great site for convert dvd Video to your zune player
