I got confirmation that first shipments from factory have begun,
we will have our units on 5th June !
to summarize pros vs. hw6515 :
1) Windows Mobile 2005
- persistent storage, better battery life, better camera application,
push email (with exchange 2003sp2), better IE, better contacts
(individual photos and ringtones can be assigned to contacts),
gps intermediate driver (can use many gps applications simultaneusly),
EDGE indicator (network status shows either G [for GPRS] or E [for EDGE]),
better memory management & leak prevention, etc..
2) Faster processor (416 Mhz vs. 312 Mhz)
3) Integrated WLAN 802.11b with auto-shutoff (when out-of range for
xx minutes)
4) New Activesync support, synchronize Calender, Inbox, Sent Items,
Contacts and Tasks directly with server
5) New AGPS driver (improves accuracy)
6) New TomTom version (dependent on model)
OT: Somehow I hope that FSC T830 development shows same difficulties in the beginning that HP had with their path H6340->HW6515->HW6915 just to see that it wasn't HP who promised a lot but failed to deliver due to delays and bugs everywhere...
This is the first device I've been following up to release. How does it usually work? Will HP and Cingular not say anything about it until the day they're ready to sell them? Would look like it unless something is released tomorrow (with the holiday next week).
got it yesterday ! (2nd July), and I must say it's a fantastic phone. The installation is snappy especially compared to the RW6828 that I had for the last 1 month. Even more fantastic than the stable 1.21-rom 6515 that I had few months back!

I love it!
Can you tell us where your from Zen? UK, US Europe?
Expansys UK Ltd appear to have stock of this item and are posting a 5th July release date. When I first checked their site they had 39 units in stock which has now gone down to 28.
I have e-mailed my contact at HP UK for an update. Wil let you know the response.
It may just have finally been released in the UK or maybe Expansys have got their hand on some imports from the far east.
Well I just phoned expansys UK and was told all the 30 items in stock were being used to fulfil back orders.
But a few hours ago their stock level went to 50+, so I have just placed an order online and hopefully my HW6915 will be dispatched tomorrow (Thursday) for delivery on Friday.
I placed a order through HP in late March and am expecting delivery after the 13th. So if expansys dispatch it before then I will be cancelling my order through HP. Which will piss them off considering I have been given a 512mb mini-SD, battery and carry case as compensation for the delay. (to be found on ebay shortly)
Mine arrived about an hour ago and is now being charged ready for use.
I ordered it in March from expansys UK so I was one of the first to get dispatched. I spoke to expansys yesterday they said they had 133 units delivered.
I just got confirmation from expansys mine shippe today vi special delivery - it will be here within 18 hours - lovely.
I posted an order through epansys uk yesterday at about 2:15pm EDT yesterday...
I called this morning to check on the order and it still has not been processed yet... when I submitted the order, there were still some in stock so I would think that the order could be processed...
do ya'll have any recommendations on what I should do??

I checked the site. They are still showing 18 in stock. There was 41 this morning. Call and ask. The small print below the phone still says
"If you order this product before 4pm today, UK customers could expect delivery tomorrow morning."
