Easy does it

Workaround 240x240 VS 320x240?

Hi all!
There's this program I'd like to use (Naturally Speaking's PDA Voice Recorder) but unfortunately, it's only designed for 320x240 screens and as of consequence, I can't use it as some important commands are hidden (and of course, no scroll bar is provided).
Short of waiting for an updated version (which I've requested on their support site without very high expectations...), is there any workaround I could try? I don't mind if it's a clumsy solution... I only need to access those hidden controls once in a while...
Any input appreciated!
Alex

You can try NYDITOT.

I am not sure how well it runs on a 240 x 240 screen but it's the only option that I know of that does a virtual change of resolution.

I used a trial version of NYDITOT on my old 6515 and it was great for re-sizing and getting to commands hidden in 240 x 240 mode. I had some weird system slowdown issues or something, so I removed it.

I have not tried it on the 6900 series to see if the issues are gone or not. Post back with your results if you try it out.

I use on the 6915 Resco Recorder in connection with Naturally Speaking on the dsktop. Works good.

Thank you !
It worked perfectly!
However, now that the voice recognigion routine is done (it has to be completed using NS voice recorder, hence the need to access some hidden controls), I guess I'll simply use standard vocal notes as my voice recorder to avoid having to use Nyditot every time I need to dictate something.
As for Nyditot it self, I haven't noticed anything strange on my 6955 so far.
Thanks again!
Alex
