TV tuner for IPAQ?

Does anyone know if there is currently such a device. I don't care about the form factor (i.e. SD,CF). If there are none would anyone else be interested in one? I have had to miss several episodes of my favorite show (alias) while on the road. I have been looking for one for a couple days now and can't find one. If I can't find one I am thinking of creating one. Any input would be great!

I am aware of this great product. Unfortunatly it is only a record and transfer device. Your PC records the show, formats it for your PPC, and then you sync it and watch it on the PPC. I am interested in being able to watch LIVE TV from your PPC, and be able to change the channel if you wish. But I appretiate the fast responce.

There is a sleeve for the iPAQ that lets you watch live TV broadcasts.

http://www.denali.co.kr/english/solution_m_03.htm

I read a review of it that said it uses so much power that, for all practical purposes, it must be plugged into external power to be used.

i wish they had these sleeves for the h1910 or any sleeves for that matter, can u image sleeves on that thing, it wouldnt even make it bulky like it does with the other models since it is tiny to begin with, im sure hp would have tons of customers for it, but i doubt they will do anything about it

oh well, can always put tv shows on sd cards, and vcd's, and dvd's, and and mp3's....dammit i want an h1910

The H1910 is not capable of such "upgrades". No SDIO support either. No PCMCIA sleeves, etc. The H1910 was designed for users that don't need this support, kind of like a "Palm PPC" so to speak.

Exactly my point. The 1910 is not capable and therefore HP must manufacture new models to support SDIO.

I sent DanaliV a email and they have yet to respond. I don't think this will be a commercial product. I also read news about sony developing one for thier memory stick. But also said they wanted to see if it could be done so venders can make them that they would not make them. Ill keep you updated

I haven't heard from anyone who actually has one of these, but I have seen it reviewed on a site complete with pics and whatnot. Apparently, there is a way to get it, they just don't make it easy.

Just heard back about the DENALIAN-V. "We are developing this product advanced model. It will be placed to market in 2Q, 2003.
The price will be setting $180 ~ $200. "
