.....to make your voice heard. I encourage everyone to get out and vote today. The election is going to be a close one and every vote counts. I am not going to voice a preference for any candidate and am not asking whom you support. I am just asking that you do your civic duty and vote. (And only vote once please! )

I have already voted this morning. I was in line, with several hundred of my neighbors, at 6:30 this morning. About 1 hour and 15 minutes later I got to the voting booth. Took my iPaq and MP3 player with me to help pass the time. It was time well spent.

This will be my first time voting which I intend to do. I became a US citizen in July of this year and I'm so pleased to have a vote.

Thanks for the congrats. Not the first forum I have hit 500 in, but certainly the fastest. Less than 5 months! Of course, your post count is climbing quickly too. You may have joined in May, but your posting has really taken off in the last few weeks. You may hit 500 in less time that me! But, I am not keeping score.

Oh, let me take a moment to publicly congratulate you for becoming a moderator here on Dave's iPaq!! You slipped in kind of quiet and under the radar and no one welcomed you publicly.
