Question CF Modem

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has bought a compact flash modem and if so, which one did you buy?

I'd also be interested in you have had any problems with the modem.

I'm looking at buying either the Targus, Pretec, or Socket modem.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
Brad

Hi,

I've had a Targus for about 8 months and have had no problems at all. It was totally painless to set up a connection and get started.

Generally speaking, most seem focused on wireless solutions and overlook what a handy thing a land-line connection can be.

Thanks

Hi,

Thanks for the advise. I think Targus is usually a good bet. I'm glad I waited for the extra few days becasue between the time I posted my request for advice and now, Amazon.com has lowered the price to $88.88.

I just saw this same modem at Best Buy for $149.95!

Thanks Again,

Brad

Last Fall I was able to catch the modem on sale at Staples for $99.99 and had a $50 rebate to boot! Good luck and enjoy.
