h5500 Series SDIO WLAN card Update


The HP iPAQ Pocket PC h5500 series will not go into standby mode when the SDIO WLAN card is connected

When an SDIO WLAN card is installed in the HP iPAQ Pocket PC h5500 series handheld device, the device will not go into standby mode when it is connected with an Access Point. By design, the SDIO WLAN card is maintaining a connection to prevent the possibility of lost data. As long as data is being transferred, the device will not power off.

resolution

The HP iPAQ Pocket PC h5500 series handheld device is operating as it was designed. You can workaround this issue by removing or turning off the SDIO WLAN card when not in use.
