Got a Sony PSP use it now to capture Podcasts

Well there is a new rom floating around for the Sony PSP which enables full web browsing. That being said I wanted to try out the capabilities of downloading podcasts using this new rom update. What I find amazing is that you now can download any podcast anywhere if you have your Sony PSP with you and a Wifi connection. Watch the video and be amazed...

Download the video and see how cool it really is.. Please right click and save as..

Full instructions on how to install the 2.0 Rom are here

using a PSP for podcasts is great - the challenge though is finding podcasts using your psp with sites not designed for the smaller screen size.

Take a look at http://psp.thepodlounge.com to quickly & easily find podcasts using your PSP
will domebody please upload the video so i can see it??????
just got meself a psp but dont know how to connect to the internet it says that cant find an internet connection when it has already said found device ani 1 know how to fix
Encece, yup sd500 camera and it is a great camera. 2.0 Rocks!
Works like a charm. Love the new 2.0, the speed of my WiFi, and the ability to download files. Would like a flash player for the browser, though. What kind of camera are you using to record the video? Is it recording the sound too or did you do that seperately?
Umm 1. Homebrew is useless since 2.0 does pretty much what homebrew does, the browser is enabled, and that you now can add wallpapers.

2. It wont harm ur PSP get it from the SONY website.

3. Im in the US and im using a Japanese v2.0 Update and it works fine on my US PSP

4. V2.0 owns.. dont know how long til the US actually gets it but i couldnt wait and it werks fine.

5. the only reason i ran homebrew on my v1.50 was for the BG and the homemade brwoser, then when sony came out with their stuff, id like the official stuff more. thats just my 2 pennies.

6. Besides Homebrew stinks for the obvious reasons: Swapping cards, out is bs. Having Corrupted data icons is bullcrap. The amount of werk gone in to just switch bg and run browser is bs. Also buying a 250 dollar machine to play old school SNES or Genises or Gb roms is pointless.. just go to Game stop and purchase a used unit. save ur self the headache
Just digg the story guys please.. :)
don't do it, if you have 1.5, its worth alot more, keep it at 1.5 run homebrew browser and other stuff.
DOH! I left my PSP at work!!!! There'a always tomorrow!
