PPCMD,

If you ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY need a 6000 series device right now, it's understandable. But I have a gut feeling the Mac Sync solutions will be ready by the time WM5 devices actually ship. For myself, it would make no sense to spend money on a solution that I just going to "throw away" in a short time span.
For MAC users like me who have to wait for MissingSync or PocketMAC to support a new device let alone the new OS and how it may differ in its sync methods the 6515 will be a good in between step for me. I will get the 6700 early next year if support for WM5 synchronization gets to the MAC.
Wow, imagine what wonders you find if you read the manual. :)
Cool! Proud to be hw6515 owner. Learn something new about the camera take and send picture feature, great!
All this means, we're one step closer to the 6700. :) Yippy!
That may be true, but I don't think that IT departments would think the same. Going back to your point, as a "knowledgeable consumer", I certainly wouldn't purchase a 6500, knowing full well a WM5, fully loaded device was waiting in the wings.
Well once you've had the 6315, you want to get your hands on the first thing that comes down the road.
I can't imaging why anyone would want this device knowing full well that a 6700 is right behind it. Unless of course, the price of the 6500 is considerably less, which I highly doubt.
