Looks like PC Mag beat us all to the punch and has done a thorough review of the US version of the hw6515.. Looks like they are using the Navteq GPS software along with Cingular as the provider. Interesting to note they also are using the Goodlink software to give the end users the "Push Email" technology many of you have been asking for..Many of the issues they are experiencing or commented on I definitely disagree on and hopefully soon we will put up our own impressions of the hw6515 in the near future..
A very usable navigation joystick and a full keyboard of small, round keys sit below the screen; on the right side, there are two memory card slots, one Secure Digital and one miniSD. We expect that many people will use the miniSD slot to supplement the 55MB of available memory and use the SD slot for a Wi-Fi expansion card.
The hw6515 does its best work as an e-mail device. Our model came with the latest version of GoodLink's push e-mail system, Version 4.5, which adds a two-line preview display and off-line message reading to the Editors' Choice product (version 4.0).
GPS is a fresh addition to HP's line. The hw6515 comes with HP's iPAQ Navigation Software package, which installs on your PC and lets you load maps for states or metropolitan areas onto the handheld's memory card (though there's not enough free memory on the handheld for most maps). Like the majority of GPS systems on the market today, the iPAQ uses Navteq's map data.
