Brightpoint, Inc. has announced that its subsidiary, Brightpoint North America L.P. ("Brightpoint") and European Consulting and Computer Business S.A. ("ECCB") have entered into an agreement whereby Brightpoint will distribute ECCB devices including the Simply Phones. Simply Phone is a Skype certified USB handset that allows the user to make Skype VoIP (Voice-over-internet) calls avoiding the need for a headset. The agreement authorizes Brightpoint to initially distribute ECCB products in the Americas with a provision to include additional geographies in the future.
