Palm Pixi Coming to Sprint on November 15th

The Palm Pixi is coming to Sprint on November 15th with a price of $99 after rebates and a two agreement. The price of the Pixi is what we expected here at Mobility Today. Things to note about the Pixi is that it lacks WiFi, has a slightly smaller screen, and a slightly slower processor. For additional Pixi features just look below for the details. I'm sure this device will be a great upgrade for current Centro owners.

Palm Pixi Features

  • High-speed connectivity (EVDO Rev. A)
  • 2.63-inch multi-touch screen with a vibrant 18-bit color 320×400 resolution TFT display
  • Gesture area, which enables simple, intuitive gestures for navigation

The price of the Pre at Sprint is $149 (after rebates), so the price of the Pixi is fine if you are interested in directly dealing with Sprint. I'm sure Amazon will offer some deals on it once it's been out for a while. I wouldn't be surprise if we see a price drop to $79 after a month or so.
You can get the original Pre at Amamzon.com for $100 right now, no rebate required. Honestly, you have to wonder what the folks at Sprint are smoking...
