EXCLUSIVE: iPAQ hw6515 coming to Cingular with $50 Rebate!

Cingular Rebate form shows hw6515

Well I think we have final proof that Cingular will definitely be carrying the hw6515 iPAQ with and without camera.. If you look at the $50 rebate which is directly from Cingular we find hw6510 w/o camera and hw6515 w/camera.. Also we are hearing some Cingular stores are getting 7ft promo display's.. The only thing we can confim is this rebate..

Stopped into the local Cingular store today. No display or any info available. I did ask and the rep was not familiar with the device (why would they be) and I asked to see the current promo sheet. It was there but Cingular is only calling it the iPaq 6515 or iPaq 6510 no HW in front so they couldn't find it. I let them know the launch was very soon and they offered to call me.

One question for any Cingular guru's, does the new insurance plan cover the PDA's or is Cingular just ripping us off?
I've been using this phone for about a month now, it's my first Windows PPC (have always been a palm guy) & it's pretty good.

The built-in GPS makes it worth the price (imho) even though the battery life is horrible, the OS is about as good as their desktop offering, and the radio performance is about what you'd expect from a pda phone (good in rf-saturated areas, poor in marginal areas).

Also, if you're going to get it, go ahead & pick up a bluetooth headset - the ear speaker on the phone is "acceptable" at best.

Unless something changes between now & launch, it will not have WM5.
Dave,
Can you post a link to the PDF for the rebate, or maybe send it to me.
Thanks,
JP
I seriously doubt it will be running 2005 if it's being launched soon. But if it won't be coming out until the fall the, yes, it could have 2005.
Now PPCMD why would he :P Anyway I have the actual PDF too..

Well I guess maybe the guy over at howard forums was right, HP was to announce it this coming week. $50 is not enough for me to resign up besides I have, wait I have 4 months left on my contact does that qualify me for an early renewal?
Cool,

Hey, Check out this guys claim: (WM5??? yeah right)

"I spy a poster for the HP Ipaq 65xx! I am not sure of the exact model;but it is the iPaq with Windows Mobile 5.0 and this poster is frickin' HUGE"
