Mobility Today Video Review - Shure e4c Headphones

Mobility Today Video Podcast is available now and you now can Download the m4v directly here. Or you can use our iTunes Video feed by clicking here

Today David Ciccone reviews the Shure e4c Headphones. These headphones are definitely for the sound professional, we have to say though they are the best sounding headset we have ever heard. For those who are on a budget Shure makes a great $99.00 headset called the e2c.

This is a iTunes Video file format you will need iTunes or compatible player

I am a latecomer, just getting to the video podcasts. I have owned the Shure e5c ear buds for over a year now. (The e5c's have generally the same construction quality as the e4c's except that the 5s contain 2 transducers in each ear bud to seperate highs and lows.) This e#c series of ear buds are the best, bar none. They do take getting used to, but well worth the effort and cost. I had to chuckle at your comment about the packaging of the product being a bit on the, shall we say, ordinary side. The e5cs are packaged in the same high impact plastic cases that the Shure line of microphones are shipped in. :).

Again good to see things as well as hear.

Fugita, I agree when I mixed it I missed that one level.. Ughhh.. Sorry
Cool, I liked the video podcast. Might want to work on the timing of the intro. You cut in to fast, and the intro over cast you. I look forward to seeing more of these types of reviews.
Hi, anyone know of a program that can play this on the PPC?
Thanks for the website I have been looking for a good case for my video ipod.
Yeah the case rocks!!!

They do a nice job!
That was really cool, what was the case your using for your video ipod?
I should be also noted that because they do go so far into the ear canal, they require periodic cleaning of both the rubber ear plugs and the white sound tube (when you remove the rubber ear piece).

Yes I know. I didnt like the fit in that position. They felt comfortable to me.
Hey Dave,

You know that you had those e4's in the wrong way! :)

Shure recommends inserting into the ears and looping the cord over and behind the ear. Then you can use the plastic slider on the headphone wire to "tighten" the grip.

My conclusion will be posted later today :) you beat me to the punch Laura.
WOW - amazing job Dave - it would be good, maybe, to see a printed summary - things like rating of the product etc..
Ok, so TCMP won't play it and WMP10 won't play it. Does this mean I have to wait 'til I get home and use iTunes to play it?

Great review. Its nice to see video reviews.
I can most certainly vouch for this one! The one thing about the e4c's is that you have to keep your ears real clean! :)
