HP hw69xx series confirmed by HP.com

It seems as one of our members found a document on HP.com which goes over the entire hw69xx series iPAQ line. Interesting information in which from what we can read no US version in the near future is listed... What are your thoughts?

Whydidnt is correct. If you search for ipaq 6915 on the HP site, that document displays first. It is clearly labelled as an EU (European Union) document.

The reason only European countries are listed is that any manufacturor that produce a device in Europe / bring a device onto the european market, have to have a certain CE-certification.

As you can see in the document it is just a declaration of conformity to this CE standard.
Hp invent
That is to bad. I thought this unit would be the Treo killer... lol
I don't think this means the hx69xx won't be available in the US. If you look at the 65XX series you also don't see US model listed. Most likely this is a Govt. compliance form that they have to file telling the government where they are exporting the technology to. I suspect they would not be able to export to CUBA or North Korea for example.
Yaaawwn. New device....same 'ol HP.
