Mac Streaming for the Xbox 360

I had to post this because this software is truly amazing! I have a mac mini which serves as my media hub for my music and photos. One big problem was that my XBox obviously doesnt see my Mac Mini. Well say no more thanks to NullRiver!!

Connect360 automatically indexes your iTunes and iPhoto libraries and shares them to your Xbox 360. You can then use the Xbox 360 Dashboard to browse and play your media, organized in the exact same way that it is on your Mac.

You can browse and play your iTunes music by song, artist, album, genre or playlist. As you add and remove content to your iTunes library, Connect360 keeps your Xbox 360 up to date!

With Connect360, you can enjoy your iPhoto photo library on your television screen, especially beautiful in high definition.

What formats are supported?

Connect360 supports MP3, AAC, WAV, AIFF and Apple Lossless for Music. For Photos, Connect360 supports: JPEG, RAW, GIF, PNG, BMP and TIFF.

I was so angry when I first found out that the "connect to your computer to play your music" REALLY meant "connect to your XP or Media Edition computer to play your music", which was not a stipulation I ever heard prior to buying the XBox360.

So I just spent a few days getting Media Connect to "play nice" with my Windows 2000 Server. Boy what a pain! But it can be done!

Now at least I have access to my songs (confirmed by the loud rocking my wife is doing in the other room at this point). I have not tried to see any pictures at this point, but I will try to verify that part later...
