It has just recently been brought to my attention that a new player is in town! The ZVUE which is one of the most inexpensive but extremely powerful MP3 players to hit the market..

So is this a different Handheld company or part of the same group?
I agree mobilemail this device takes all sources..Also the color screen is beautiful for video..Oh did I also mention the next models soon to be release will also be able to capture video directly from your TV and also still be cheaper...Also did anyone see who the executives who are running this company??? If not go check it out...
Let's see, I can get an iPod and play only iTunes downloads, or I can get a competitor (like my Zen Micro) and use downloadable music from *several* of the big sites (Napster, Walmart, Yahoo, etc.)... AND I can use it to listen to podcasts downloaded through iTunes. Did I mention it's cheaper??? If this zVue has any improvements over that, it is truly worth considering.
Have owned the ZVUE model 200 since 9/06, absolutely terrific! I record streamed radio broadcasts as well as the terrific movies I buy on the ZVUE web site.

Can't wait for the new ZVUE models, particularly the iPod killer . . .

ZVUE 500: wireless (WiFi) 802.11a/b/g connectivity, a 3.5-inch LCD screen with 320x240 landscape video mode at 30fps, 1GB of on-board flash memory and slots for Compact Flash (up to 8GB!), SD/MMC

I'd rather ZVUE than iPod any day . . . like a Mercedes Maybach vs. a Buick!

Yep, just like the Dell DJ, Creative Labs, the Rio, the Karma, etc.... ;)
Ok.... All I have to say is this is going to make a huge mark...
I would never trade my iPod video for this!!!
If I had a nickel for every iPod killer that had great specs....

People buy iPods not only for cool hardware but also for the integration with iTunes. No other player matches that experience.
