Apple admits of logic board problem on MacBookPros

Ok many of you remember this annoying noise that was coming out of my MacBookPro.. Well we spoke with the Executive Customer Relations Deparment of Apple where they stated the whining sound is from the logic board and they are aware of the problem. Unfortantely they stated they are not ready to state it is a large spread problem. During my conversation with the representative they stated there was a backorder of logic boards that should arrive no later than Monday. Sounds to me as if it is a."widespread problem!"
If you can get it fixed, it now appears running Windows XP Pro on it shouldn't be a problem.

The download takes a few minutes, but it's worth it.
So I really hope they respond quickly here - I have always been impressed by Apple - I have taken back a number of broken Ipods, and been given an immediate replacement at the Apple Store which I am always amazed at. Now wouldn't it be cool if you could do that with an IPAQ at an HP store ?
