We just received a new photo of what it looks to be a photo mockup of what said to be a new handheld XBox 360 portable console. From the email we received half of Microsoft's original XBox 360 development team started to work on this console once the 360 hit the market. This all makes sense since the Windows Mobile team last year was merged into the XBox group so it could be interesting. Not sure how legit this one is and apparently they are starting to surface a bunch of different looking prototypes. Thanks to Ralph for getting the new photo that hasn't been released yet...

Regardless of what it is, it shows that MS is looking to possibly get into the market. I am waiting for the day that a device like this is the "core" of the system and when you are home, you just plug it in an play your DVD based games. When you want to go away, you just take the core with you and play mobile games.

Talk about slick!I'd like to see some spec's before I make a judgement though...

Also I wonder what formate it will use. I can be 100% sure they wont use UMD :D :D
