It looks like someone got there hands on the rumored (if you can say rumor) Treo 700p for Sprint. The user clearly shows all aspects of this exciting new Treo. These photos are located here
As a Treo 650 Palm user(and I like it by the way) - it is an obvious upgrade to EVDO (where available). The problem is our OS is languishing in 2004 and will never be upgraded. I am almost forced to wait for the next 700W on Sprint (or a 6700) or something different.
I will not consider a 700P because the "P" part is outdated.
I won't abandon Sprint - prices on web access are too good.
OK Did anyone besides myself notice that they were running Sprint on a Verizon device? CH Spera, the main reason for this upgrade is EVDO capability. The hardware has only slightly changed, it is the software improvements that are great. Also concerning Windows Mobile they have not changed their hardware very much since the begining. Yes it is smaller and trimer and easier to work with but overall look has not changed much, except the addition of a keyboard to some, since my IPAQ 3975. I still use the 3975 by the way.
Maybe someone can clue me in, but I don't see what's so exciting about a 700p vs. a 650. Palm tends to do this with a lot of their hardware. For some reason, they like incremental hardware upgrades. I'm not certain why...
