Motorola Q cradle

Not many people have seen the optional charging cradle for the Motorola Q so I figured I would take a few pictures to show all of you. The cradle is quite bulky compared to the Q and also has a strange way of docking the Q into the base. The user needs to slide the Q from right to left in order for the mini usb port to charge the Q. Another aspect of the cradle I noticed was that it takes only 1.5 hours to fully charge the battery which to me is very fast. Also the cradle can charge the Q along with one other battery!

Looks like you can purchase it here for $29.99 http://store.everythingq.com/content/accessories/6-39--996.htm
Anybody know when this cradle will be available to purchase? Or if it already is, where I can find one? I seem to be striking out with my online searches...
It would be so great to ask the person or persons who designed this - Why ??? And this is true of many things !
I do like being able to answer the phone when it is charging as I occasionally get calls in the middle of the night. I could see myself fumbling with this thing :-)

Overall though, not a bad design. It's tricky with the power slot on the side.
Yup .. The end of the article...

Also the cradle can charge the Q along with one other battery!

Not bad though!
That cradle is a monster. Does it charge a spare battery?
David,
Thanks for the pictures and info. Most of the press so far has talked about the features of the "Q", but very little on the basics.
