Palm was founded in 1992 according to WiKi Pedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palm%2C_Inc.).

The original Palm device was called the Zoomer. The device was manufactured by Casio and marketed by Tandy, while Palm provided the PIM software. The first two official Palm devices were the Palm 1000 and Palm 5000.
