I was wondering how well you can see the screen in the car under sunny conditions. My Treo 650 is very dim when in sunlight and I would think it would be very hard to see the driving instructions when the Treo is mounted on the dash.

HTC Question 1: What/who will be your major distribution channels in the US? How will this distribution channel assist in getting more HTC branded devices in the hands of US customers?
#2: What are your plans for US technical support and what are your goals for support turnaround (ie. from customer to HTC)?
#3: Is there any possibility of a VGA device with 3G in a form factor more like traditional PPC phone edition devices? The Universal is a great device but too big for many.
#4: When will HTC lead the way and offer more RAM options for handhelds?
#5: How much say does HTC have in the innovation of new features into the handheld space? How are particular device categorized so that certain features are offered for each? (ie. one device has wifi and 3g, another may offer GPS and Edge)?

Question for HTC:
Please ask them if in development of the Excalibur, or any new devices if they are considering releasing a Pocket PC device like the treo but with a 320x240 landscape QVGA screen to get around the terrible 240x240 screens that most pocket pc qwerty devices have had.

Questions for the upcoming podcast with HTC: Is Imate being frozen out of the HTC device roadmap going forward? If so, will the Jasjam even be allowed to be released? Also, are there plans for an updated Universal that would include tri-band UMTS or EVDO? What specs will the next round of EVDO devices from HTC have? Will HTC ever develop a Wizard styled Ultraportable PC or even an Origami device?(since they have such a close relationship with Microsoft)

An interesting note is that the defective batteries were actually manufactured by Sony. It was also proven that the battery is the problem not the laptops. I wonder why that did not get as much publicity.

Dunkin Donuts huh? Wouldn't do me much good down here since we only have one left. That was the nice thing about visiting the NorthEast is that they are still all over up there.
