Well numerous people have been sending us info hourly and apparently what we are seeing is that the next Mobile Messenger will be model number hw6920/hw6925 w/wo camera through Cingular. Also HP has informed us that is in the final stages of confirming a combined release with T-Mobile also. We have seen HP do this repeatedly before but can this be the actual release? Either way TMobile customers should be excited.. Here is also a chat session one of our readers had with HP today..

you: Jeff, Good afternoon. I was just checking the web site to see if the status of the delivery date for the Ipaq 6900 had changed from "Coming Soon". I was told in a previous chat that it would be released by the end of Aug. Any new news?
Jeff: Glad to hear that you are interested in our new hw6900 ipaq model.
Jeff: The hw6900 model is expected to release this weekend
you: Very cool!!! Do you know when Cingular will be releasing their version?
Jeff: The hw6900 Mobile Messenger series that will have the iPAQ PocketPC and cell phone (via Cingular or T-Mobile) combined into a single unit.
you: Yes, I think Cingular was calling it the 6925 with camera. I hadn't heard that T-mobile was carrying it too.
Jeff: Yes that is correct, we haven't received any conformation on that, however we do also expect it to be with T-mobile
you: Is the Cingular release expected to be this weekend as well?
Jeff: Yes it is expected to release this week end
