Treo Voice Dialing by VoiceSignal is #1 Selling Palm OS Application

Woburn, MA, September 12, 2006- VoiceSignal, the leading provider of speech recognition solutions for mobile phones, today announced that Treo Voice Dialing by VoiceSignal, based on the popular VSuite solution, has been the number one selling Palm OS® application on Palm's Software Connection (http://software.palm.com) since June of this year.

VoiceSignal's Treo Voice Dialing application, which is available for the Palm® Treo˙ 650 and Treo 700p smartphones for $19.95, allows users to control features on their Treo smartphones using only their voice. Treo users can place a phone call by saying the contact name or by speaking the numbers. Text messages or emails can be addressed simply by speaking the recipient's name. Treo Voice Dialing also lets users open applications that are available on the Treo smartphone simply by saying the application they wish to open.

Despite the fact that Treo Voice Dialing is only available for the Treo 650 and Treo 700p, Treo Voice Dialing by VoiceSignal has outsold every other Palm OS application, including games, productivity office tools and financial applications. Treo Voice Dialing achieved its number one ranking, demonstrating that consumer demand is strong for VoiceSignal's easy-to-use, hands-free, eyes-free functionality.

"We are pleased by the success of VoiceSignal's Treo Voice Dialing application, because it not only demonstrates the market's understanding of the quality of VoiceSignal's solutions, but also the market's interest in having voice-activated features on their mobile devices," said VoiceSignal CEO Rich Geruson. "The success of the Treo Voice Dialing application confirms that speech is an important part of the mobile phone user experience, and VoiceSignal is committed to continuing to lead in the delivery of innovative speech enabled features for these devices."

"VoiceSignal's Treo Voice Dialing is an excellent value-add, helping our customers maximize their Treo experience," said David Williams, director of Product Marketing, Wireless Services, at Palm, Inc. "Treo smartphones fully support hands-free use, and VoiceSignal's Treo Voice Dialing is an excellent fit with Palm's commitment to safe use of mobile phones while driving."
