Cingular to get Samsung SGH-i607

From the photo below, it looks like Cingular will be picking up its own "cool" WM5 smartphone to compete with Verizon's Q and T-Mobile's Dash. From what is being told, the i607 will follow after it's Euro-brother, the SGH-i600 having WM5 Smartphone Edition, HSDPA, EDGE, a 1.3mp Camera, microSD, and WiFi 802.11 B/G. However, upon Cingular's request, the i607 will most likely not have a front facing camera as it seems that Cingular is just not quite ready for its devices to be equipped with video calling features. This sleek smartphone seems to be worthy competition based on features alone, let alone its looks. As predicted, the fall season looks to be an exciting one for Cingular customers.
