You guys noticed the SD card with padlock icon labelled Encryption in the Settings screenshot?
Is that removable storage card encryption integrated into the OS?
That'll be excellent if it is integrated!!
Even with strong password for the WM device, we all know that the removable storage content has no protection. Especially since we're all storing more & more data into our removable storage card, loosing or misplacing our removable storage cards can be disasterous. Or for that matter, loosing a password protected WM device may still allow
the contents of the removable storage card to be accessed by unintended persons.
Am wondering how it's implemented...if I'm required to key in the encryption password for the "container" each time I want to access the contents, then it's quite troublesome & somewhat useless.
It'll be fantastic if they can tightly integrate this to the system-wide password so that each time the device password is keyed in, the removable storage card/encrypted container is decrypted.
Airscanner Encrypter currently allows for startup prompt for decrypting the "container" before proceeding with loading other processes.
Any ideas?

Versions of the WM OS usually cannot just be downloaded and installed. The OEM's get the OS code from MS then customize it for each device.

Does Crossbow allow encrypted Xcel files? Prior to WM5 I was able to use encrypted Xcel files on mobile device. Loss of encrypted Xcel files was the biggest disappointment in WM5 and I hope it is fixed in Crossbow?

All show...no go. Let's hope there's some improved and more efficient code in there - if nothing else.

it is sad to see that the new version only seems to have cosmetic changes.
