I'd say it is more like the magic of deceptive marketing, JN. Maybe they will have a ROM update to upgrade the device to PPC....not :P
It would be a first if the BlackJack could do that though, making it truly and innovative device!

I saw one of these in the Cingular store on Friday. It's smaller and lighter than the Q, and seems faster. I really don't like the proprietary connectors (you have to use Samsung parts for charging or tethering) but I suppose it's a small trade-off for the quality of the device. Too bad I don't live anywhere near an HSDPA area. I still might pick one up and try it out.

I'd buy it, based just on the commercial alone.

yup it is using today screen like full windows mobile, not smartphone. How is that possible.

Yes the Blackjack is a smartphone and uses the smartphone OS. A marketing faux pas.

It looks like the screen is showing a Pocket PC today screen. I thought the Cingular Blackjack was using the Windows Mobile Smartphone software?

Lol Jerry.. I am truly impressed with what Samsung/Cingular has done with this phone! I cannot believe the power/speed of the network.

That is indeed a very cool commercial. Hmmm....if I didn't have so much invested in PPC software I might have been heading down to my local Cingular store for a little 21...oops...Blackjack.
