The folks over at Mobility Watch are reporting that the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority has finally reached a deal with Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile USA, Sprint Nextel, and Cingular Wireless to provide cellular phone service in Boston's tunnel system. All of the service providers will be sharing the load of the technology that would be used by mobile phone owners underground.
This is going to make the commute to Boston much easier for folks now that they wil be able to talk on their cell phones while being stuck in traffic.
