Zune team member sells precious pink Zune!

Ouch now this doesn't really look good for the #18 Pink Zune.. For those who aren't aware, a few pink Zunes (100) were made for the members of the Microsoft Zune team. Apparently this member decided to sell his on Ebay and score a whopping $920.00!!! I don't think this looks too good for the Zune team and what this member thought of their limited edition gem!

Ebay Auction

Maybe Microsoft has something good they aren't aware of.. Pink Zunes?

Unfortunately #2 went for $760.00 on Ebay

And another which is currently on sale has a starting price of $400.00

And #20 is over $350.00 dollars !

Zune-Online I beg to differ as I confirmed this story..

The device is available in three colors and features what Microsoft calls the “doubleshot” effect, with a translucent glow in a different color. The colors of mainstream availability are black, brown, and white with a doubleshot of blue, green and clear respectively. A limited-edition red Zune was put up for auction in various stores in L.A. Additionally, pink and orange Zune devices were given to the Zune team as ship gifts with "Welcome to the Social" and "November 14, 2006" written on the back. And finally, an as yet unknown color is being released by December 15th, 2006 to recipients of the Zune Master inductees.
I'm afraid this is not the case. The gift version of Zune team members could be orange or pink (they selected what color they wanted).

There are also 100 pink Zunes disguised as other colors. You buy a brown one but when you open the box you find a pink one inside. These are numbered to distinguish them from the "gift" pink Zunes
