iPhone's size when compared to other devices

as usual apple has such a great PR vehicle. they start comparing it to the smartphone, when they should actually compare it to the pocketpc instead. that is the version of windows mobile that has the touch screen. now, i use on a constant basis, GPS, slingmedia, and skype. the iphone is great, but not to give up all that. and it is only a matter of time for a very thin pocket pc as well...

I still dont think they are going to capture the business market. we still need high speed, office apps, and such. by the time this thing goes into production they may well add HSDPA or other high speed chip sets to it, who knows.

This price doesn't seem too "subsidized" by Cingular and being a TMobile user I hope they sell an unlocked version soon - can't think it would cost that much more. Although Apple has gotten pretty good at maximizing the pricing yield curve - this is definitely that early adopter price!

My wife wants one too. Heck, I will pay for her to get out of Verizon so she can get one! :)
