BREAKING: Palm shows off new smartphone at Sprint Summit

I was just given this information from my friends at Palm who apparently showed off a new smartphone called the Palm Centro. Palm showed this device to a group of Sprint's financial audience, as well as a small number of press and market analysts.

The Palm Centro from Sprint features

Smallest Palm OS smartphone to date
Targeting a younger demographic, new to the smartphone space
Runs on EVDO network
New design features a full keyboard and touch screen

If the price pointis $99 it should sell pretty well. I would also hope that you could get one in black. Not to keen on the white.

Looks like a fav. for the female market. Not sure if I could sport a creamy white phone anytime soon. Back enough I still have a white ipod. :)
