Rumor - WM6 on the BlackJack September 17th

According to a post on the Cingular/AT&T forums the long awaited upgrade to Windows Mobile 6 for the BlackJack will be out on September 17th.

The Post reads:

Samsung informed me (then backed up by an AT&T Level 2 Data rep) that the release date for WM6 on the BlackJack will be September 17th.

I phoned back in a day later to ask a different question, and again asked and got the same date.

Great news for the BlackJack owners. Now if AT&T would move their butz along and get the Treo 750 WM6 out and for those users and of course get the Q9 GSM out the friggin door I would be VERY happy. Yup in my never ending quest to be happy with both the my phone and carrier I decided to give the new AT&T a roll with the new Q9 GSM since I enjoyed my current Q very much (just not the carrier).

Very cool. I have been waiting for a "Blackjack-like" form factor for a WM 6 Pro device for a long time. Perhaps in 2008 HTC will grace us with one?
