Best Buy to sell USA unlocked HTC Diamond Sept 29

We have very credible information that Best Buy will be selling the USA branded HTC Touch Diamond on September 29, 2008. According to our sources the unit will support US 3G bands and pricing is still TBD. Good news for those who are eagerly waiting for an HTC device that actually will work on the US bands..

hopefully its GSM 3G they are talking about, not Rev A1 crap b sprint cuz we all know, sprint cdma diamond is coming out in september
hopefully its supports both at&t and T-mobile

This came up in a WSJ article a couple of months ago. HTC is pushing for brand name recognition in North America, attempting to duplicate Apples success with it's branded iPhones. It's a tribute to HTC's muscle in the mobile phone market that the carrier's would even allow them to try. We can only hope that the version they bring to Best Buy will be minus that terrible gimmicky faceted back cover.
