Looks like Microsoft has an announcement going on today about new software being released for the Zune. If you currently have a Zune you'll definitely want to watch this video to see the added functionality you will be receiving..

We do not have DAB proliferated the way you have it over there on that side of the pond Chris. So FM is the standard still here for the targeted market of teens.

In addition, DAB is not legacy technology and therefore not an integration of legacy to Internet the way the Zune is doing it, which is inovative like it or not.

Yes but is it the age of digital radio not poor quality FM, I listen to DAB which is CD quality audio radio and if i want to buy a song I just fire up Shazam on the iphone which listens and identifies the song and I can then buy it from iTunes with a direct link from shazam. So its nothing new really.

Wow, talk about integrating legacy technology with the Internet. That is nice, is this possible on an iPod? I do not believe there are any iPods with FM radios on them.
