The community of WebOS ROM explorers has come across some hidden features that are not enabled in the current release of the webOS on the Palm Pre. They have managed to enable theses features, but a rooted Pre is required.
First of the hidden features is a call duration labeling system for the call log that appears to be disabled by default. You can find the instructions here.
The second hidden feature is the ability to add and delete pages in the launcher. A detailed page about this feature can be found here. It's still a mystery why Palm did not enable this feature in this release of the webOS.
Hopefully Palm will enable both of these nice features by default in future OTA updates of the webOS. For those of us that may be impatient and don't mind going through the rooting process, then messing around with these mods will suffice. I will be giving these mods a try either tonight or tomorrow. I will post my updates in the palm Pre forum.
