FAQ Blackberry Storm: How to add email accounts using BIS

Once you get your new Verizon Wireless Blackberry Storm you definitely will want to know how to use the new email account configurator. Well I made it easier for you. Take a look at these few steps.

  1. In the Setup Wizard, on the email setup screen, select the I want to create or add an email address option.
  2. Click Next. If necessary, click Update Now.
  3. To accept the terms of the license agreement, select the Yes option. Click I Agree.
  4. If you want to link an existing, supported email address with your smartphone, if necessary click Add An Email Account, or simply type in your existing email address and password then click Next.
  5. If you want to create a new email address for your BlackBerry smartphone (i.e. username@vzw.blackberry.net), click Create a BlackBerry email address OR click I would like to create a new BlackBerry email address.
  6. Type the user name that you want to appear before the @ sign in your new BlackBerry email address.
  7. If necessary, type a password for this email address.
  8. If necessary, select or choose a secret question. Provide an answer for the secret question then click Next
