Palm Treo 700wx released

Looks like TreoCentral and a bunch of other sites got their hands on a brand new Palm Treo 700wx. TreoCentral does a fantastic job reviewing the 700wx and from what they say the unit will be released on Tuesday. It also looks like Palm went live on their site in which it goes over all the specs..

That is correct JN, it is not standard navigation GPS technology. It appears that it is just for the purposes of emergency locating of the individual with the device. It is, however, GPS technology.
I don't think that is the same as GPS to be used in turn-by-turn navigation programs.
Wow I guess I was right? :)
For those who are wondering about the GPS per Sprint's site:

"E911 Emergency Location Enabled
Features an embedded Global Positioning System (GPS) chip necessary for utilizing the E911 emergency location service where available"
it's out. i hope ppctechs can figure out the ram for the 700w!
Great video on the Treo Central website.
I'm glad I didn't hear what you were muttering when he checked the program memory after opening about 6 programs.
