HTC Diamond lockups

Oh boy.. Once I get excited about a Windows Mobile device I start to research the device in YouTube and once again I am finding a bunch of videos of the Diamond Locking up!! I spent 5 minutes looking and already found these videos!

At 1:42 the Diamond locks up..

At 1:10 at the HTC Press Conference the device locks up

....and you'll also notice in a lot of those videos they mention the device/software isn't complete...pre-production. Paul over a Modaco also stated that different devices were behaving diffrently again pre-production units
The device did not lock up on the first video either, it paused for the way amount of time. Pay attention and at 1:55 the display pulls up the peoples landing screen.

Basically, from what I can tell, the device is just simply slow mo and not fluid at all times. I am not impressed with the performance in the least.
I read yesterday (either at Engadget or Coolsmartphone) that it's a RAM issue. The phone in the video is a prototype running less RAM than the final release will be running.
Yep, I think Fugita made a good point about the bad link.

LOL on the first video! Funny thing is that's the norm for many WM devices at one point or another.
Actually it looks like the second video was a bad link and not so much the device locking up. But the first one did look to lock-up, but I wonder if she has any contacts loaded and if not that might explain why the unit locked up. But then again, it should have said something about no contacts, instead of locking up.
Yeah....check out Paul's vid over at Modaco. You'll notice a little bit into it, he mentions the device wasn't doing what he wanted it to - so he decides to turn it over and talk about the camera.
